How To Keep Your Toddler Healthy

  • Give your child on a good multi-vitamin once a day. You will love the difference!! Your baby will hardly ever get sick. Most high end vitamins are really the same price as the over the counter brands. So make it a PRIORITY to purchase the good stuff!!!
  • Be sure that your toddler is getting enough rest. This is an easy toddler care tip and it is also very important, because during sleep their bodies and brains restore nutrients and grow. This will help to build up their immune system. If they aren’t on a regular, toddler schedule, then try putting them on one.
  • Add plenty of protein to their diet. This includes fish, chicken, meats, and of course beans. Make these a part of their daily diet. Cook the proteins in good quality fats: Olive oil and organic butter, just to name a few. All kids need to eat a sufficient amount of protein to keep their immune systems healthy.
  • Include vegetables in your toddler’s diet. Serve the vegetables raw or cooked for their antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, fiber and enzymes. You will find that the nutritional content that you receive from raw fruits and veggies is awesome!
  • Be sure that they drink plenty of water to keep them hydrated. Water definitely does wonders for a healthy immune system.
  • Avoid sugar in their diet. Sugar has been known to depress the immune system. If you remove as much sugar as possible from their diet their immune systems to do a better job of keeping them healthy. Try rewarding your child with raisins and nuts, instead of sweets. Or even better, you can go for the apples and baby carrots.
